The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) will once again host its signature event, Beer in the Bushes, on Saturday, April 19 from 6 to 10 p.m. at its Sanibel headquarters, located at 3333 Sanibel-Captiva Road.
Widely known as the unofficial end-of-season party for the islands, this outdoor celebration brings together live music, regional craft beer, and local food trucks, all in support of SCCF’s mission to protect and care for Southwest Florida’s coastal ecosystems.
Headlining Entertainment
This year’s event will feature a live performance by Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, a renowned San Diego-based band known for their energetic mix of rock, soul, and classic funk. The band has graced stages from the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival to Madison Square Garden, and Denson is recognized as the longtime saxophonist for The Rolling Stones.
“We look for artists who bring a powerful live experience,” said Jeff Siwicke, SCCF’s Facilities and Events Director. “Tiny Universe is going to get people moving.”
