The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) is set to launch the season’s first Pine Island Sounds concert aboard the Lady Chadwick on November 17. This year’s opener features The Suitcase Junket, an innovative one-man band led by Matt Lorenz, known for his unique fusion of thrift and craftsmanship. With homemade instruments and a solo performance that evokes the sound of a full band, Lorenz brings a truly original music experience.
About Pine Island Sounds
Since its inception in 2019, the Pine Island Sounds concert series has served as a vibrant celebration of live music while supporting SCCF’s mission to protect local water quality. Held monthly, these concerts bring together music lovers on the water, providing an intimate sunset concert experience with a scenic cruise from McCarthy’s Marina.
“We’re thrilled to present another season of Pine Island Sounds in partnership with Captiva Cruises and the Marcums,” says SCCF Event Director Jeff Siwicke. “Our goal is to offer a diverse lineup of both established and emerging artists from across the country, creating a memorable experience for all attendees.”
