The Topgolf property in Fort Myers, Florida, has sold for the second time in 18 months, this time for $38 million. The buyer is Win Chevrolet Properties, which recently relocated from Carson, California, to Sarasota, Florida. The seller was Sideways Properties, which along with Bowery Fort Myers LLC, paid $32.3 million for the 14-acre property in March 2022.
Topgolf is a popular entertainment venue that combines golf, food, and drinks. The Fort Myers location has 36 golf bays on the second floor and 36 on the ground floor, as well as a 215-yard driving range with netting up to 175 feet high.
The sale of the Topgolf property is a sign of the strong commercial real estate market in Fort Myers and the surrounding area. The city has experienced significant population growth in recent years, and businesses are increasingly looking to expand in the region.
