LeAneSUAREZGroup | Our story
A sixth-generation Floridian with deep island roots, Alec Suarez grew up between Fort Myers and Sanibel/Captiva Island—where after-school hours were often spent watching his mother, LeAne Taylor Suarez, transform the art of coastal real estate into a family legacy. From tagging along on showings to helping at job sites, it didn’t take long for Alec to know his own future was destined for real estate. A graduate of Bishop Verot Catholic High School, Alec balanced academics with athletics, competing on the lacrosse and golf teams, traits that instilled his natural drive and focus. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Real Estate from Florida State University, graduating with distinction. His studies focused specifically on commercial real estate and investment analysis, equipping him with the business acumen to elevate the LeAneSUAREZGroup with data-driven insight and strategic depth. Since graduation, Alec has participated in numerous commercial transactions throughout Southwest Florida, expanding the team’s service offerings beyond residential luxury to include retail, hospitality, and investment properties. As a licensed commercial drone pilot, he also adds a modern edge to marketing—capturing sweeping aerial views and cinematic perspectives that spotlight each property’s full potential. In 2025, Alec will earn his Florida Broker’s License, joining his mother in expanded leadership while continuing his professional education and commitment to excellence. Community remains at Alec’s core. A proud graduate of The Sanibel School, he now supports the same institution where his wife, Ali Suarez, is a beloved educator. Together, they’re deeply engaged in local island initiatives and educational programs. When not immersed in real estate, Alec can be found at Cypress Lake Country Club, where his lifelong love for golf continues—and where, naturally, some of the best deals are still made on the fairway. A devout Florida sports fan, he cheers passionately for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Tampa Bay Rays, with a side of European loyalty to Manchester United. Alec also enjoys traveling with Ali—from exploring U.S. national treasures to visiting family heritage roots in Canada and Spain—and, when home, unwinding by the pool as their golden retrievers Bailey and Bruno prove that “water dogs” really do live their best lives. Alongside his brother Austin, Alec is also part of Estate Management Construction, handling select projects and client overflow. Together, the “Suarez Bros” are leading the next generation of the Suarez Family of Companies—a dynamic trio of real estate, construction, and property management built on integrity, innovation, and island legacy.
