Local community support for Southwest Florida teachers is back in full swing. The Lee County Tax Collector’s Office has officially kicked off its third annual “Stock a Classroom” school supply drive to benefit public school educators across Lee County.
Running now through August 14, 2026, the initiative invites residents, business owners, and visitors to drop off essential classroom materials at any of the Tax Collector’s five service center locations.
At the LeAneSUAREZGroup, we strongly advocate for community initiatives that support our local schools and workforce. Ensuring that local teachers have access to necessary classroom supplies directly elevates educational quality, strengthening the fabric of our families and neighborhood communities across Lee County.
“Teachers give so much to help their students succeed, and something as simple as classroom supplies can make a meaningful difference. ‘Stock a Classroom’ gives our community an easy way to show local educators that we appreciate and support them.”
— Noelle Branning, Lee County Tax Collector & Executive Board Member of The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools

Art & Craft Supplies: Crayons, glue sticks, scissors, and craft kits.
-
Learning Aids & Stationery: Puzzles, dry erase erasers, and notebook paper.
Where Your Donations Go: The Education Resource Center
All collected items directly benefit the Education Resource Center (ERC) at The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools. The ERC operates as a dedicated resource hub where local public school teachers can “shop” for essential classroom supplies completely free of charge, ensuring every student has the tools needed to succeed in the classroom.
Combining your donation purchases with Florida’s ongoing Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday allows you to stretch your dollars even further while making a lasting difference for Lee County educators!
