This unique experience includes a round-trip cruise from Captiva to Pine Island. Along the way, local historians Betty Anholt and Brian Holaway will share insights on the historical impacts of hurricanes on Pine Island Sound and the surrounding area.

Once on Pine Island, participants will enjoy lunch at the four-star Tarpon Lodge Restaurant, where owner Rob Wells will discuss the history of the 1926 building and its resilience in the face of hurricanes over the years.
