Important Traffic Note: Please be aware that the Matanzas Pass Bridge is closed to vehicle traffic today from 9:00 a.m. until noon to allow for the parade.

Pink Gold Shrimp Boil: Starting at 10:00 a.m. and running until 5:00 p.m., the Lions Club is serving up world-famous shrimp dinners at Bayside Park. Every container sold supports local scholarships and charitable programs.

Queens Pageant: Head over to Bayside Veterans Park at 1:00 p.m. to see the crowning of the 2026 Shrimp Festival Queen.

The celebration continues tomorrow with some of the festival’s most meaningful and fun traditions.

Blessing of the Fleet: A powerful island tradition, the blessing will take place at the commercial docks on San Carlos Island. A church service begins at 10:00 a.m., followed by the official blessing of the shrimp boats at 11:00 a.m.
