Athletes and fitness enthusiasts from across Florida and beyond are gearing up for one of Southwest Florida’s most scenic athletic events. Registration is officially open for the annual South Seas Captiva Island Triathlon, taking place on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
Hosted by the iconic South Seas resort and professionally produced by Game On Race Events, this USA Triathlon-sanctioned weekend provides a beginner-friendly yet competitive race course. At the LeAneSuarezGroup, we love highlighting signature events that showcase the active outdoor lifestyle of our barrier islands. Major sporting events like the Captiva Triathlon celebrate the natural beauty of our coastlines, bring vibrant energy to local businesses, and offer a world-class experience for residents and visiting athletes alike.
