The Taste of the Islands Sanibel 2026 officially returns this March, marking 44 years of community, cuisine, and conservation. This beloved event serves as a “friendraiser” and fundraiser, bringing together residents and visitors to support CROW in its mission of saving Southwest Florida’s diverse wildlife.
As your local experts at the LeAne SUAREZ Group, we know that the heart of Sanibel and Captiva lies in our local businesses and our unique environment. This event perfectly captures that spirit, allowing us to support our favorite island restaurants while ensuring future generations can enjoy the wildlife that makes our islands so special.

Why CROW Matters to the Island Lifestyle
At the LeAne SUAREZ Group, we often emphasize that Sanibel is a “Sanctuary Island.” CROW’s work in rehabilitating injured wildlife is central to maintaining the ecological balance that makes our property values so stable and our environment so enchanting. Supporting this event is a direct investment in the very soul of our islands.
Local Expert Note: We want to extend a special thank you to Edison National Bank/Bank of the Islands for their continued support as the presenting sponsor. Their commitment, along with the resilience of our local restaurants who continue to rebuild and thrive, is what makes this event possible.
